Children and Teens Summer Faith Formation
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School will be held at St. Joseph Catholic School. Children journey through the Book of Matthew to discover how Jesus is their guiding light. Each day focuses on a different Bible story, reinforcing the message that Jesus is always present and dependable in every situation. Open to Pre K- 5th Grade. Register below, cost is $30/per child.
Register and Pay for VBSSummer of Service 5th-8th grade
Summer of Service (SOS) is a community building and service program held every other Wednesday in the summer from 1-5pm for current 5th – 8th graders. We’ll spend the first half of the afternoon doing service at Catholic Charities or at St. Joe’s and the second half doing a fun summer activity (Fort Fun, Hiking, Trampoline Park, Water Fight, City Park Pool, Ultimate Frisbee, etc). Cost is $50 and covers all activities, snacks, a t-shirt and service. Registration is due by May 31st. Register for the summer and come to what you can!
Register & Pay for SOSSummer Mission Trip Adopt-a-Student
This summer, nine high school students and five chaperons will travel to Salt Lake City and work with Catholic Charities to help those in need. These trips are life-impacting for the teens who attend them. Please consider helping out by participating in our Adopt-a-Student program; you’re paired with one or more students to pray for them and make a donation towards their trip, use the link below.
Adopt a StudentTotus Tuus
Totus Tuus is a summer program for kids currently in K-12th grade. A team of college students and seminarians will be here for five days to inflame the hearts and minds of the youth. Seminarians hope to inspire a true longing for holiness and a deep desire for conversion which empowers the youth to become Christian leaders. We hope they will dedicate their lives totally to God in imitation of Pope St. John Paul II's motto "Totus Tuus Maria" (Totally Yours, Mary). K-5th Graders is July 7-11 (Mon-Fri) 9am to 2:30pm; cost is $50. 6th-12th Graders is July 6-10 (Sun-Thurs) 7-9pm; cost is $20.
Register and PayElevate
Elevate is an Archdiocesan rally on June 7th designed to serve as a bridge from elementary school into middle school to build excitement for youth ministry and all the opportunities students will have in the coming years. This is an event that will engage the young people, encourage them in faith and send them back to their parishes excited to begin their experience with local youth ministry. Our featured keynote speaker will be Giancarlo Bernini, who is a dynamic Catholic speaker and magician with a passion for evangelization. Cost is $30 and registration is due by May 13th. Open to all current 5th graders.
